Ph.D. student Nneoma Ike-Njoku has won the First Novel Prize, organized by Daniel Goldsmith Associates Ltd., for her novel The Water Horse. This prize was judged by a leading literary agent and a senior fiction editor and comes with a £1,000 prize.
