Barbara McCaskill's Love, Liberation, and Escaping Slavery: William and Ellen Craft in Cultural Memory was featured on the nationally syndicated Criminal podcast ("In Plain Sight," Episode #59, 1/20/17).  In a review of that episode published on the blog Cultural Front:  A Notebook on Literary Art, Digital Humanities, and Emerging Ideas, blogger and professor of literature Howard Rambsy II celebrates McCaskill's use of what he calls the "time-honored" storytelling approach to create new audiences for a story of "mystery, drama and suspense, humor, and all kinds of intriguing details."
