Georgia Poetry Prize Winner Chelsea Dingman to Read at UGA

The Creative Writing Program, with the University of Georgia Press, is pleased to present a reading by the 2018 Georgia Poetry Prize Winner Chelsea Dingman.  Her collection Through A Small Ghost was chosen by poet Travis Denton.  This even will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 7 p.m. at Ciné (234 W Hancock Ave, Athens, GA 30601) and is free and open to the public.

Dingman’s first book, Thaw (Georgia), was chosen by Allison Joseph to win the National Poetry Series. Dingman is also the author of the chapbook What Bodies Have I Moved and has won the Southeast Review's Gearhart Poetry Prize, the Sycamore Review's Wabash Prize, the Water-stone Review's Jane Kenyon Poetry Prize, and the South Atlantic Modern Language Association's Creative Writing Award for Poetry.
