Marina Segarra

Marina is a second-year Master's student at the University of Georgia. Her focus is American Literature, with an emphasis on marginalized voices. These include but are not limited to: African American, Latin American, Asian American and Indigenous American literature. Her master's thesis centers on the power of Black Women bearing witness to trauma and how their unique experiences place them in a position to bring healing throughout a given community.
