Rendering of Viewfinding

Third-year Ph.D. student Paul Cunningham is one of 26 queer poets featured in a new public art sculpture by Sarah E. Brook called Viewfinding. The sculpture will be installed in Manhattan’s Riverside Park South, near 67th street, this September. One of Cunningham’s poems will be engraved on one of the sculpture’s panels. Brook writes, “Viewfinding will sit on the banks of the Hudson River, its tall translucent color-gradient panels—all shades of sky—will be transformed dramatically by changes in light and viewer perspective.” The sculpture opens on September 9th and there will be a poetry reading on September 22nd from 2:00-5:00 PM. See Brook's website at https://viewfindingpoets.wordpress.com/.
